This may work on Adobe Photoshop. Want to make an interrupted lines like this?
Try this tutorial.
1. Create a new document. (File > New...)
Width : 12 pixels
Height : 12 pixels
Contents : Transparent
It should be like this...
Then click OK.
2. Zoom in the document until the maximum zooming. (To make you easier when you're making the pattern)
3. Select the Rectangular Marquee Tool.
Changes :
Width : 6 px
Height : 6 px
Then click on the corner of the image (each, right and left, up and down, first and last.)
4. And then...
Fill it with Black Color, and then click OK.
It should be like this right now.
5. Create a new layer. (Layer > New... > Layer... > OK)
6. And then click Edit > Define Pattern > OK.
Make sure the name is Interrupted Lines.
Final Results :
click hereIf you want to continue to have it covers your image, then follow these step.
7. Open an image from your file. (File > Open...)
I use this image for example.
8. Drag your mouse into Rectangular Marquee Tool and right click on it. Select the Single Row Marquee Tool.
9. Drag your mouse into the top of the image and click. Repeat this step on the bottom of the image.
10. Repeat step no. 8, but here you choose Single Column Marquee Tool.
11. Repeat step no. 9, but here you click right and left of the image.
12. Let the position like that, do not click anywhere of the image. Next, click Layer > New Fill Layer > Pattern. Choose the image of the pattern you made before (Interrupted Lines).
Alright! That should do. The line's there now. ^-^
